Bounces By Bob  
A bounce house project that is operated by Russell Padgett, son of Teresa Johnson, F.A.C.E.S. founder and President. He is a 14 year old 9th grade student at Loganville High School in Walton County.  His strength is math and we are trying to capitalize on his skills to teach him how to run a small business. He will be using Microsoft Money with his Bounces By Bob income and learning how to record expenses (like gas or mileage) before being able to take a profit. He will earn $25 from each rental as a paycheck, $10 will be donated to F.A.C.E.S. (our non-profit support group), and saving the rest for medical, education or therapy costs.

Cherokee County Autism Support Group A new support group for families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders is starting in Cherokee County. The first evening meeting will be held on Thursday, August 10th 2006 at 6:45 pm, with a guest speaker from 7pm - 9pm. The meeting will be held at the Reinforcement Unlimited Clinic at 335 Parkway 575, Suite 220, Woodstock, GA 30188. Directions are available. Future meetings will be held the Second Thursday of each month at 6:45pm with a variety of guest speakers presenting throughout the year. Morning group meetings with an open discussion of pertinent issues, i.e. potty training, IEPs, etc. and some guest speakers are planned for later in the fall.
